Wingman Deleted Scenes
The idea for Wingman came when a drunk friend of mine in Houston embarrassingly went up to a bunch of girls at a party trying to introduce me to other girls. It was a nightmare, he even literally said, “Don’t worry dude, I’m a really good wingman,” which i stupidly believed.
So then I remembered that funny little incident and locked it away in my mind somewhere. When it came time to film a video I decided to flesh that idea out. Then I asked Justin Chon to play that role of a drunk wingman. He did it exactly how I imagined. You may have seen Justin in Twilight as Eric Yorkie, Wendy Wu with Brenda Song, Crossing Over, or Just Jordan. It was a lot of fun to shoot this video. Justin Chon actually got drunk while filming, which may have resulted in a lot of the raunchier stuff towards the end (including the now infamous “kiss”).
