How’d I get Iyaz?
So a lot of people have been asking, “How the HECK did you get Iyaz to do a video with YOU??” Which, in itself, is pretty offensive, I mean come on I’m pretty cool right? Wouldn’t he be happy to do a video with me? Totally joking, I can see why you guys would ask.
Iyaz is basically just a very down-to-earth, funny guy who was interested in showing that side of him. I was invited to go to the music video shoot of his single “So Big” to meet him for the first time. You can see the video below of my first time hanging out with him, it was a little nervewrecking cause he made me sing in front of him, haha
We seemed to click pretty well, so a week later I met him up at Warner Studio to do a video. We shot the video in about three hours, and we were crackin up the whole time. I wrote a script for both of us, but we ended up improv-ing a lot of it. Like when we were in the studio, the words “I Like your Body girl” just popped in my head, and we decided to go with it. Plus, Iyaz is naturally funny so “The King Ding-a-ling of Ping” was all his idea, haha.

So that’s how it all went down. You guys should definitely keep an eye on Iyaz’s music, he’s only been a signed artist for about a year, and he’s already been number 1 on the billboards. Also, his first album is coming out soon!
